Chernobyl accident not a unique example when our routine "important" business are falling on the second plan in consequence of something unexpected-catastrophic, but this one simply shocked all... The invisible enemy, people did not believe, that if it is not visible, it can be dangerous... From the general data: right after explosion, near station there was a radiation in 10000 roentgen when norm is 0,002! But, liquidators have been made a big work, about 500,000 people washed and cleaned cities, settlements, villages... And nearby 200,000 have been exposed to especially bad dozes...
I am connected with this tragedy, my father was building a city Slavutich, for inhabitants of Pripyat... After six years he has died because of a cancer of blood, but some people says, that he has not received a dangerous doze of a radiation, but who knows it... The raised radiation has been detected even in America... I could not ask more, I was only two years old when dad has died, mum says that he did not speak much, maybe, there was nothing to tell, or, maybe he can't...
